NFX Oscilloscope is a versatile application designed for analyzing signals in relation to amplitude, now available at no cost. The developer expresses gratitude to users for their support throughout the journey and invites everyone to explore the app's features.

The application currently offers two input options:

  • USB Support (compatible with Android 3.1 and above): This option requires an up-to-date Gabotronics device. The USB host mode is supported by most modern smartphones and tablets, facilitating a seamless connection. The NFX Oscilloscope is compatible with the Gabotronics Xprotolab/Xminilab devices, which feature two analog input channels and eight digital channels in a compact size of 2.5 x 4 cm. This affordable portable alternative to traditional oscilloscopes enhances the functionality of the NFX Oscilloscope for users on the go. For further details on these devices, visit Gabotronics Xprotolab and Gabotronics Xminilab.
  • Microphone Support: Users can utilize the microphone input on their Android devices to connect a scope lead via the jack socket. Further information on this setup can be found at Instructables.

The application offers features such as triggering for various impulse and continuous signals, level measurement, and fundamental frequency readings. Users can adjust amplitude, time/div, and trigger levels along with settings for trigger directions, sample rates, and voltage span calibration.

Notably, certain performance issues have been reported with USB host mode on Android version 4.3 due to a bug that is anticipated to be resolved shortly. Users may need an OTG cable to enable USB host mode, depending on their specific device.

In case of dissatisfaction with the product, the developer encourages users to reach out for assistance and offers refunds even beyond the standard Google refund period.
